A Healthy Little Note: Issue #29

peeing on your own.jpg

Hi everyone!

Happy New Year! Well, if we haven't spoken recently, I unfortunately was pretty much sick the entire 2 week break. BUT... I am back now and good thing cause I have a packed week ahead with what I assume are many resolutions for more sleep!

So, here's a funny question for ya if you have a new little one...

Have you perfected the one handed pee? I remember it well! Every time I tried to put my baby down, if he fell asleep in my arms, he would wake up! Sound familiar?

Well, when you have a baby, all of a sudden you might be looking for that opportunity to go to the bathroom - on your own!

This is true when you have a newborn and will be a thing for years to come. So, say goodbye to privacy. But, with your newborn, you actually still have a chance to catch a quick moment believe it or not. It's just about knowing when and your window of opportunity.

In this week's blog post I share tips to help you understand your newborn's different sleep patterns and why your little one is waking up and crying at different times - and more importantly, what you can do about it! ... and perhaps find that window and go to the bathroom in peace.

Also, coming up... I have more sleep talks at Beverly Hills Pediatrics with Q+As. In case you haven't heard, I'm the resident pediatric sleep consultant there. So, if you're local, I would love to see you there!

There's a newborn sleep class and younger baby/toddler sleep class available.

The next one is right around the corner on Friday, January 25. Spots are still available - so sign up now!

And please forward to any parents you know with a newborn or 5-24 month old!

That's it for this issue!

Hope you enjoyed it and I'd LOVE if you shared it with your friends on social media or spread the word on the local Mommy gossip circuit - thanks!
