Hi there!

As a certified infant and toddler sleep specialist I get A LOT of great questions from curious (and tired) mommies and daddies.

More often than not I'm handing out "how-to" advice to clients, but this week I want to go back to basics with a little Sleep Training 101.

Plus, I've got a bunch of other great stuff for you including the best way to spend 15 minutes of your time, tips on how to practice mindfulness with your little ones, the world's funniest Twitter Dad, and even some super cute baby room decor.

Let's do this!

1. SLEEP TRAINING 101

Sleep training gets a bad rap thanks to all the misinformation floating around the baby-sphere.

On the most basic level, sleep training is merely making a few changes in your little one's sleep habits to help them learn how to self-soothe.

In my new post I break down the basics of sleep training, debunk the myths (no, sleep training isn't just about letting your baby endlessly cry), and help you figure out if sleep training can help your family.

And if you're looking for some one-on-one advice on your little one's sleep or need help with some tricky toddler situations you're having, go here to schedule a FREE 15-minute call with me and we can chat about it!

Or, just reply to this email with any questions you have, and I'll be happy to answer.

2. GOT 15 MINUTES? LISTEN TO THIS!

You're busy, I get it.

But, if you magically find 15 minutes to spare I highly recommend you pop in your earbuds and listen to this fantastic TedTalks Podcast on Kids & Family.

3. HOW TO MAKE YOUR KIDS MORE MINDFUL

This fantastic Huffington Post article features eight ways to teach mindfulness to your kiddos.

Speaking of which, did you know practicing mindfulness can also help with your little one's sleep?

4. BEST. DAD. ON. TWITTER.

I wish all social media could be this funny.

It's impossible not to laugh as you read this one dad's hysterical take on conversations with his daughters.

5. WALL ART FOR WEE ONES

Looking for some inspiration for your little one's bedroom walls?

Jaxn Blvd has the cutest wooden signs and sayings...not to mention the most adorable drawer liners.

Ya know, cause your kiddo's drawers need to look cute too!

That wraps up this issue!

Hope you enjoyed it and I'd LOVE if you shared it with your friends on social media or spread the word on the local Mommy gossip circuit - thanks!
