A Healthy Little Note: Issue #11
Hi there!
I love my job because it gives me a chance to help people in all sorts of different ways.
Some days I get to help parents find balance and bliss by helping their little ones sleep and other days I get to hang with one of my favorite YouTube moms and share secrets about the best baby sleep products.
Plus, I get to send you this newsletter with a deeper dive into awesome sleep products, advice about setting better behavioral consequences, a guide to the best parks in Los Angeles, a must-have list of road trip games, and a look at one of my new favorite kid clothing brands.
Let's do this!
* * *
1. I WAS ON "WHAT'S UP MOMS!" AND HERE'S WHAT YOU DIDN'T SEE...
I had the chance to appear on What's Up Moms, YouTube's #1 parenting channel, and had a blast talking about some of my favorite baby sleep products!
Since I've had a lot of questions about sleep products since my appearance, I put together this post to dish about what you didn't hear in the episode AND what you didn't see.
(Plus, I'm doing a special giveaway so don't forget to enter to win!)
And if you're looking for some advice on your little one's sleep or need help with some tricky toddler situations you're having, go here to schedule a FREE 15-minute call with me and we can chat about it!
Or, just reply to this email with any questions you have, and I'll be happy to answer.

2. THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY - HOW TO DEAL WITH EVERY BEHAVIOR
I love this article.
It gives an amazing perspective on different types of consequences for both positive and negative behavior. The best part...examples!
I can easily see where I can step up my game and respond differently and more effectively with my little ones.

3. THE BEST PARKS IN LA
Los Angeles may be known for it's traffic, but don't underestimate its beautiful and relaxing park scene.
Check out this guide to 15 amazing LA parks to make sure you don't miss out. Trust me, it's worth it.

4. HOW TO MAKE YOUR NEXT ROAD TRIP MORE FUN FOR YOUR KIDS (AND LESS STRESSFUL FOR YOU!)
Have a road trip coming up this summer? Check out this list of great things to do with your kiddos in the car on a road trip to pass the time.
From interesting screen time selections (if you must) like kids' podcasts and audio books, to how to get creative with local landmarks.
For our next trip to Palm Springs I'm definitely upping my game and having the kiddos make a landmark map of the trains, dinosaurs and windmills we pass along the way to Grandma's house.

5. PIXIE PERFECT
Here's a must-have item for anyone whose kids love super soft clothes (so...everyone.)
Check out Pixie Lane by Jessica Leigh - these clothes are so cute, on trend, and BEYOND SOFT.
Think "Terez soft" (for those of you that know the brand) but for HALF the price.
The leggings are a must - my 4-year old flipped over the donut-printed ones.
On the sleep beat, they have the most adorable robe and pajama pants. While you can't find the items in stores, just message Jessica to get your hands on the softness.

That wraps up this issue!
Hope you enjoyed it and I'd LOVE if you shared it with your friends on social media or spread the word on the local Mommy gossip circuit - thanks!
Susie
