Is Your Baby Ready for Sleep Training?
I'M THINKING ABOUT SLEEP TRAINING...
I get it... You're worried and not sure if your little one is ready for sleep training. I remember the feeling well. It feels like one of the most daunting things facing you, and you continue to wonder if it's the right thing to do.
It is.
If you're reading this, then you're most likely thinking about the process. (Mabye not... maybe you're just curious what I have to say - thanks!). Well, here are three important factors to help you figure out if your baby is ready to learn to sleep on her own.
* * *
your little one is ready if...
1. Your baby is at least 4mos old. (Based on due date, not date born).
2. Your baby is at least 14 pounds. (Although I have made a 1-2lb discrepancy exception).
3. Your baby is healthy. (No illnesses, no teething, and a thumbs up from your pediatrician).
If you can check off all three of these things, that's excellent. You're on your way! Seems so easy, right!?! I know... this really is one of those easier said than done things. But let's now make sure that YOU are really ready! Check out some tips from the Healthy Little Note - January 8, 2018 to find out if you are.

You also may be wondering...
What if my baby is under 4 months? Well, there certainly are signs your baby might be showing that she’s ready for establishing healthy sleep habits… this is different than sleep training though! You can set the stage for healthy sleep habits easily! I am actually working with an 8 week old right now. I love setting the stage now cause it makes it SO much easier down the road.
